An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager based in Telford to join a successful international property and food processing group of companies with a sales revenue in excess of £150 million. With interests in manufacturing, food production, construction, property development and investment.
Now is a very exciting time to join the group as they launch a new division in the UK, this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
As an Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager your duties will include:
• Working as part of the warehouse and logistics team you will support the group of companies with implementation of strategies and plans for the managing and operations of the warehouse.
• Responsibility for assigning tasks to your direct reports.
• Responsibility for maintaining proper stock in storage so that it can be analysed for daily delivery of goods to/from the warehouse.
• Managing multi-site and multi-channel facilities.
• Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager you will control inventory levels and coordinate the operational plans.
• Managing and maintaining the SAP data system to ensure stock is up to date.
An ideal Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:
• Experience in warehouse management.
• Experienced in stock control.
• Proven ability to manage a team and evaluate performance.
• Experience in using SAP business one software.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Health & Safety at work qualification.
• Valid driving license.
• Need to be good at multi-tasking and able to work on their own initiative.
In return you will receive a salary of £26,000 per annum plus a Group Pension Scheme.
