Infrastructure Assurance Team Leader/Manager-SC or DV Security cleared-Patching, Anti-virus is required by our public sector client based Milton Keynes, Bucks, South East-commutable from East Midlands, Northamptonshire.
Due to the urgency of the role and an immediate start required, SC or DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance is ideally required.
Technical Background:
Experience of Antivirus delivery, monitoring and compliance
Experience of supporting McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator v 4.0, 4.5 and 4.6

Experience of below in an enterprise environment.
MS Windows 2008/3/0 Server,
MS Exchange 2003Experience of backup strategies
Virtual technologies
Desirable
Operating Infrastructure:
MCP/MCSE accreditation.
AV products (MacAfee, SOPHOS etc)
Backup software (NetVault, Backup exec)
Experience of Service Desk toolsets
Foundation certificate in ITIL Service Management
VMWare

This is an urgent requirement and the successful candidate will have broad and in-depth first hand knowledge and experience of ensuring that automated Antivirus, Patching and Backups are being effectively and efficiently maintained and any issues are quickly resolved.
Additionally, the individual will be responsible for managing and controlling System Patching and Compliance by engaging support teams to ensure that all environments are patched in line with the stringent requirements of the clients patching policy.
This individual will need the experience, expertise and gravitas to present, defend and champion the Patching/AV function at various Reviews, Boards and through Reporting, whilst possessing an innate passion and enthusiasm for driving performance improvements within themselves, their team, and the organisation.
You will have previous experience as an Infrastructure Engineer with a good knowledge of the following:
Anti-virus solutions,vulnerability product-Operating Systems, software patching, vendor firmware
This is couple with strong team leading/management skills-to manage a team of 6
