A larger than average Primary School in the Saltaire area of Bradford, are looking for a creative and determined Intervention Teacher who has a patient approach to teaching children in small groups or 1-1 sessions with specific needs or attainment targets. This position is to start in November and is set to continue into the summer term.
Ideally the right person will have;
* Qualified teacher offering ideally a PGCE, B.Ed or BA with QTS
* Passion to think outside the box, and inspire a new way of thinking for children
* Previous experience of delivering intervention programs in Key Stage 1 & 2
*An imaginative approach to engage children's learning and ensure there is appropriate challenge and extension of children's key skills
* A firm but fair approach to behaviour management
* The ability to build great relationships with staff and children
