This is an established and successful 85 place nursery. I am looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily running and progression of the nursery. I am looking for a-hands on Manager who would want to get stuck in, role model and support the staff with the development in each area of the nursery.

You will ideally have at least 3 years managerial experience within an early years setting and must hold a minimum Level 3 qualification. You must have a proven track record of having been committed to previous roles. I am looking for a candidate who stands out from the rest; you must be energetic, enthusiastic, passionate and very adaptable. You will thrive on new challenges and will have the desire to succeed.

The director is looking for a Manager who can advise guide, support and train staff in all aspects of excellent childcare practice which supports the Early Years Foundation Stage. For the success of this role you will want to spend time on the nursery floor, observing and completing action plans. You will have some administrative duties to complete but there is an administrator to support you and will complete a lot of duties for you. You will forecast and market the nursery as well as organise nursery events. You will form positive professional relationships with the parents of the nursery by being approachable and easy to reach.
