An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced UI Developer to join our motivated and energetic development team. We are looking to expand the team as we have a number of exciting new Greenfield development projects to undertake. The successful candidate will be working with the latest Microsoft .NET technologies taking a lead role in the user experience and usability of our customer focused web applications. This position will suit a motivated individual with a passion for software development, user experience and web usability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of production strength software, adhering to divisional development standards
• Working closely with business analysts to clarify and understand detailed and complex business requirements
• Working closely with test analysts to ensure software is robustly tested
• Sharing technical knowledge and experience with less experienced developers

Required knowledge, skills and experience:

• Proven experience of working on high profile UI/User Experience development projects
• Experience of implementing HTML5, CSS and JavaScript in high traffic, large scale websites
• Experience of dynamic CSS techniques and libraries
• Strong object-orientated JavaScript and jQuery skills
• Strong organisation and analytical skills combined with excellent attention to detail
• Experience of Front End performance optimisation including:
  • Frontend single points of failure, (eg analytical tracking scripts)
  • Reducing page download times
  • Reducing number of HTTP requests per-page
• Experience of usability and accessibility for client facing web applications
• Experience of Angular and Bootstrap would he highly desirable
• Experience of .Net/C# development technologies would be highly desirable
