DevOps Engineer
Dev Ops Engineers - Nottingham
Cognizant is currently looking for Onsite Dev Ops engineers to assist with the implementation of our Dev Ops tooling.
The engineers need to know how to work with a team of highly skilled engineers in an emerging Dev Ops and agile environment. They need to be passionate about Dev Ops, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery as well as other chosen approaches the Client has decided to adopt as well as understanding group dynamics, change management and being strong communicators and experienced in coaching. They need to be not afraid to raise issues and drive change to remove impediments. We are at the early stage of our Dev Ops journey and need someone able to lead the way in the practice of CICD.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of the tooling and change management for approach adoption
Recent experience of working with Scrum, Kanban, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery etc Implementation of CI/CD related tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Chef, and concepts such as environment provisioning, PaaS, release automation
Actively try to identify waste and areas of improvement
Key Skills and Experience:
Experience in DevOPs
Must have mobile experience
Experience of implementing CI/CD related tools
Experience with the following tool chain - SVN, Jenkins, Gradel, Nexus. And from a mobile perspective, Hockeykit. Concepts such as environment provisioning, PaaS, and release automation.
Specific experience of uDeploy and CI/CD in a mobile delivery environment would be advantageous
