Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are looking for excellent Teaching Assistants and Nursery Nurses to fill daily, short & long term positions across Rochdale. We work with many schools covering diverse social economic and cultural backgrounds giving teaching assistants an opportunity to build on current experience and gain self confidence.

The ideal candidate must have good knowledge of the primary curriculum and previous experience in the Primary classroom. Dependant on each individuals experience and preference duties will include supporting students with SEN and EAL, providing general classroom support, running interventions, running booster lessons and providing PPA cover for class teachers.

We are looking for hard-working and flexible teaching assistants with a passion for helping children. In return we offer constant support, feedback and free CPD training that they need to reach their potential.

* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
* You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
