Sogeti UK is looking for a Test Process Lead who has proven experience of implementing testing processes, to work onsite for a well known Sogeti UK customer in Reading. This is a chance to forge a successful career in a UK leader for testing services.

Working as a Sogeti Test Consultant is a fantastic way of gaining a huge amount of experience in a relatively short space of time. Working onsite with many well-known blue chip companies, projects typically last from a few months to a year and so Test Consultants at Sogeti gain experience working in a variety of methodologies and industries, as well as learning different test tools and types of testing. This is a customer-facing role and so excellent communication skills are essential, as is the desire to improve your testing skills and take up training (which will be provided for you) to improve your technical skills.

All Test Consultants at Sogeti act as trusted advisers and build relationships with our customers as well as lead delivery teams to exceed expectations, champion besting working practices and identify areas for improvement.

As a Lead Test Consultant (Test Process Lead), we're looking for:-

• Previous work based experience implementing Test Processes.
• Practical work based experience in software testing
• Excellent communication skills
• ISEB Foundation in software testing desirable but not essential as this is just one of the courses we offer via Sogeti Training.
• Flexible on travel/locations

In your first project you will be responsible for:-

• Creating test life cycle and integration, test templates, checklists and guidelines
• Creating test methodology documents, configuration management/build management processes
• Creating the project audit process
• Creating the defect management and prevention process
• Creating metrics and reporting processes
• Creating the test closure process

Sogeti Test Consultants have usually come from a background where they worked as a Tester, Software Tester, Test Analyst, QA Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, Test Lead, QA Lead, Test Team Lead, Senior Tester, Senior Test Analyst, Senior QA Analyst, or similar.
