Production Operative
Salary: From GBP13.30 p/h + shift premium may be available + paid overtime
Location: Dagenham Engine Plant
Hours: Various Shifts
Ford Motor Company Limited is recruiting for Production Operators - 23 month fixed term contracts.
This is your chance to join one of the World's largest motor manufacturers and the biggest motor company in the UK, with seven locations and over 550 Dealerships. Dagenham Engine Plant is Ford Motor Company's sole diesel engineering and manufacturing location in Europe. It is located next to the river Thames, some 15 miles east of London.
The plant has a long history stretching back over 75 years and employees around 2000 people.
Our Manufacturing team is at the heart of the business, ensuring our plants and facilities around the world produce vehicles and engines that are green, safe, smart and best in class. The Manufacturing team is responsible for designing, installing, testing and then running the production facilities that are used to manufacture our engines and vehicles. The scope of work undertaken enables Manufacturing to offer a huge variety of challenges and experiences to our team members and the opportunity for rewarding careers.
Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a large number of production operators for our assembly and machining work at Dagenham Engine Plant. The roles do not require any previous experience as training will be given, although relevant experience would be beneficial. You should be able to stand for long periods of time doing a repetitive but important manufacturing task.
It takes lots of concentration and hard work to keep up to the speed of the task whilst still maintaining the quality which is expected by Ford.
Ford is offering excellent rates of pay starting at GBP13.30 per hour plus shift premium and opportunities for paid overtime.
