The ASP.NET Software Developer:

Leading international technology and solutions provider to the Digital Marketing industry are seeking a Software Developer to work on their award-winning portfolio of products and services. The role offers huge potential to develop within a fast-paced and challenging environment, dealing with high transaction volumes and very large databases.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new functionality as well as the maintenance of DC-Storm's ASP.NET web interface. The web interface covers the administration of the entire platform as well as reporting on large amounts of data; the ideal candidate will have to be comfortable working on diverse projects from a web-based JavaScript IDE to reporting and graphing systems. The position will be in the Software Team which builds new products and features alongside database developers to create a secure, robust platform for our business.

ASP.NET Software Developer Duties:

> Build new components and screens from mock-ups

> Fix bugs & issues in a timely manner

> Aid in design, development and refining project specifications

> Develop & update software in line with business needs

> Provide out of hours cover as part of support rota

ASP.NET Software Developer Required Skills & Experience:

> Excellent ASP.NET development, particularly with C#

> Experience with distributed version control systems (Git / Mercurial) and continuous build servers (i.e TeamCity)

> Agile Development methodologies

> Excellent understanding of JavaScript

> Excellent understanding of CSS

> Good understanding of SQL Server

> Experience of working with non-technical staff on solution development

> Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
