Higher Level Teaching Assistants-Chesterfield

Protocol Education is seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to work in a number of our client Primary Schools in and around the Chesterfield area. You will be covering classes from Foundation stage - Key Stage 2.
We are looking for HLTA's to cover day to day, short term and long term placements.

As an HLTA you will be responsible for:

*Teaching whole classes to cover teachers PPA time.
*Supporting teachers with planning.
*Planning and preparing group activities.
*Monitoring and evaluating pupils progress.
*Supporting the learning of all pupils.
*Using ICT to support learning.
*Supporting SEN pupils including IEPs (Individual Learning Plans).
*Working under the supervision of more than one teacher.
*Participating in local and national learning strategies.

The successful candidates will:

*Have a level 4 or above Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
*Have at least 1 years experience (desirable).
*Be highly motivated, enthusiastic and willing to learn and develop new skills
*Be keen to work as part of a team and have good communication skills
*Be able to deal with challenging behaviour.
*Have eligibility to work in the UK.
