IT Learning Specialist

The Talent Team has a group of professional IT Trainers responsible for designing and delivering best practice IT training courses on in-house systems, some web based systems and Microsoft packages across all levels in the business.

Role description

We are currently looking to recruit an additional IT Learning Specialist to join the IT Learning team based in either Central London or Birmingham.

Responsibilities will include:

Delivery of induction courses covering in-house systems to all new consultants/team secretaries/managers
Deliver refresher training to all levels across the business as appropriate in either classroom or floor walking format
Assist in the development of our E-learning programme
Update and create training documentation - Quick Reference Guides, FAQs and User Manuals
Design new courses and adapt courses for new working and best practices
Conduct Training Needs Analysis for ad hoc training and refresher courses
Be the link between Business Technology and the Operational Business
Be involved in testing and implementation of new software

A role as an IT Learning Specialist requires autonomy and is highly dependent on a high level of communication and reporting with the Manager and Director and you will need to have the confidence and aptitude to develop strong internal relationships across all levels of the business. Some travel between our office in Central London and Birmingham will be required.

Who we're looking for

You will need strong influencing and persuading skills and possess a proven track record in effective training delivery in a role as an IT Learning Specialist, demonstrating a positive impact on business performance. You need excellent communication skills, initiative and self motivation, with an extremely pro-active approach to your work a high degree of urgency, energy and commerciality. Candidates must be willing to travel between London and Birmingham.
