At the core of this business the technology teams design, architect, develop and maintain systems and applications used across the globe by a wide range of business units. The Java developer who will join this technologies team will be involved in a range of exciting and innovative activities.

You will be:

Experience Required:

* Strong Object Oriented Design and Java development experience
* Database skills including experience working with procedures, triggers and indexes (Sybase)
* Hands-on experience with Spring Framework or other open source applications
* Understanding of the SDLC, development practices and exposure to Perforce or equivalent
* Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
* Understanding of basic OO Design Patterns
* Knowledge of Hibernate, Service Oriented Architectures
* A computer science degree and solid foundation in mathematics and physics etc
