GBP35,000 to GBP45,000 + benefits
Our client supplies utilities to 680,000 people in the Boroughs of Sutton, Merton, Croydon, East Surrey and Kent. They are a forward thinking, innovative company, highly regarded for their efficiency and customer service.
They are now looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager that will lead and manage the delivery of IT projects across the company. Within this role you will ensure the appropriate use of project methodology, that quality and governance are maintained to the highest standards, and develop an IT environment that supports the business requirements for the competitive water market in the UK opening in April 2017.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of Project Management, a good working knowledge of IT Project methodology and will ideally be educated to degree level in a related subject and hold recognised IT qualifications or vocational training. Knowledge of a range of IT systems and project management tools and techniques is essential along with the ability to deliver projects to predetermined time scales, on budget and that meet the project criteria. Experience within a utility environment would be a distinct advantage, as would a good working knowledge of the water industry. Our client are encouraging applications from ambitious, self-motivated and analytic team players that are able to make effective decisions within established procedures and systematic processes. A full Driving license and lots of enthusiasm are also essential for this role.
