Lead Hybris Developer

This is a client facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers. The position will involve collaboration with clients and offering Technical Expertise on Java based solutions. The position will also provide support to project teams for successful delivery of the project through all phases of the implementation or upgrade.

The successful Hybris Lead Developer will have:

At least 6-8 years of experience as a Java/ J2EE Developer in general besides at least 2 - 3 full-cycle implementations of Hybris as a Developer.

Extensive experience in java development.

Extensive experience within web development and / or systems integration.

Good exposure to design patterns, data structures and exception handling.

Proficient in Hybris core concepts and commerce concepts.

Should have experience & knowledge of multi-channel architecture, data modeling with Hybris, Data exchange and integration.

Should have experience in working with JSPs, Java scripts, JQuery.

Proficient in Hybris WCMS, Cockpits, Cron jobs, internationalization, personalization, security concepts and REST. ( Experience in Hybris Multichannel Suite 5.x will be an added advantage)

Should have experience in Hybris Accelerator.

Good understanding of integration patterns with Search, Content management package or other platforms.

Should have exposure on the continuous integration build tools and code quality tools

Experience with Java frameworks (Spring, Struts and Hibernate)

MVC Frameworks (i.e. JSF, Struts, SpringMVC)

Job Description

- Lead Technical design and development of all front end components(presentation, client side behaviour , data and web-service integration etc) for hybris based Ecommerce platform.

- Drive the development, adoption and enforcement of new standards and guidelines around browser compatibility, reliability, maintainability and performance.

- Assist and monitor developers on a day to day basis , as per project schedule.

- Identify potential areas of risk and suggest mitigation actions

- Assist in planning and estimations of the teams work.

- Be responsible for team's work, quality and process compliance, and ensuring it meets the projects technical standards and guidelines.

- Liaise with stakeholders throughout the project phase to produce working designs.

- Assist on evaluation and piloting of new technologies and products.

- Adhere to the client methods; specifically integration of iteration approach with the existing standards.

- Unit testing of code and delivering high quality work to agreed deadlines.

Educational Background / Skills

- Bachelors in Engineering /Technology or Bachelor's degree in science or relevant Master's Degree.

- Excellent communication skills

- Good analytical skills, presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning attitude

- Hybris Certification would be an added advantage
