Relief Support Assistants
Hourly rate- £7.54 plus holiday pay
Hours adhoc and to be agreed, office base Bristol
Our client is a leading mental health charity in the South West providing support to people with mental health problems across Bristol, North Somerset, B&NES and South Gloucestershire. Their aim is to deliver recovery and wellbeing opportunities for people with mental health and other support needs to achieve their hopes and ambitions.
They have a number of Relief Support Assistant vacancies across the following departments.
- Community Supported Accommodation
- Intensive Tenancy Support
- Floating Support
- Supported Housing
- High Support Accommodation
Community Supported Accommodation
Our Community Supported Accommodation service provides support to people with mental and learning difficulties currently living either in Bristol or out of the area in residential care homes to live independently.
Intensive Tenancy Support
Our Intensive Tenancy Support service provides high tenancy related support to people with to people with complex mental health needs. The successful applicants will deliver support to a range of service users as part of a team, so a commitment to team working is essential.
Floating Support
Our Floating Support service provides low and medium tenancy related support to people with mental health needs. The successful applicants will deliver support to a range of service users as part of a team, so a commitment to team working is essential.
Supported Housing
Our Supported Housing service provides low and medium tenancy related support to people with mental health needs. The successful applicants will deliver support to a range of service users as part of a team, so a commitment to team working is essential
High Support Accommodation (Reference HAS)
These services support service users with complex needs and you will have skills in mental health and/or the drug/alcohol field and have an understanding of what factors can undermine a tenancy.
The post holders will have an awareness of the issues relating to mental health and or learning difficulties, homelessness and a commitment to assisting people in gaining greater independence and experience of supporting vulnerable people. A full driving license and access to transport is desirable as the posts involve travel around the Bristol area.
