Electro-Mechanical Engineer - Evening Shift

This is a great opportunity to join a premier artisan bakery. They are the proud suppliers of London's leading Michelin restaurants, prestigious hotels and contract caterers with their award winning breads, pastries and cakes.

They are currently looking for an experienced electro-mechanical engineer for the evening shift (13:00-21:00) to help their Head Engineer in managing the Engineering & Maintenance Department.

The ideal candidate would have:

- Relevant academic qualification
- Experience in the Food industry/ similar- essential!
- 3 phase electrical
- Experience and knowledge in welding and plumbing.
- General mechanical breakdown cover experience.
- Very good English skills- spoken and written- essential!
- PLC- advantage

Duties and responsibilities:

- Helping to manage the Engineering Department to provide an effective response to planned and unplanned maintenance and breakdowns.
- Management of all capital projects from concept to completion, in areas such as plant design, specifications, procurement, cost control, installation, commissioning, testing, plant handover and subsequent maintenance.
- Design and implement thorough maintenance regimes for all equipment following risk assessments.
- Arrange effective emergency breakdown procedures to minimize effect on production.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies, standards and procedures for the HACCP process.
