Full time permanent position 37.5 hours

Our client currently has an opportunity for a Trainee Surveyor to join their team based in Enfield. The key responsibility of this role will be to assist in the project surveying service and manage the capital and cyclical works. You will assist with pre inspections and tendering procedures, and also contribute to the development of the annual departmental budget and plan.

They are looking for the successful candidate to assist in relevant Health & Safety tasks such as Asbestos and Water Hygiene management. Other duties will include monitoring various service contracts and supporting on procedural documents.

The successful candidate for this position will have previous experience gained in a housing environment. You will have an excellent standard of education and must be qualified to “A” level or equivalent. Although not essential a HNC qualification in a related subject would be desirable. With the ability to demonstrate an interest in building surveying as a career you will be able to work to tight deadlines and have an awareness of cost control.

Support to study for professional qualifications (eg. RICS) will be available.

Due to the nature of the role you must hold a full UK driving license and have use of a car.
