Elliott Brothers Ltd is the most successful Builders Merchants in Hampshire Established since 1842, with 11 branches and a 40million turnover, still family-owned today.

Due to an increase in business we are now looking to recruit 2 Internal Sales People to work out of our Fareham and Bishops Waltham branches.

Internal Sales Person Role:

Based in the Sales office, you will be part of a small dedicated internal sales team committed to the branch sales efforts.

This will involve sales of a wide range of building materials, mostly over the telephone, as well as providing cover for the trade counter, ordering materials, negotiating prices, and responding to a wide range of queries from customers (both trade and retail) and suppliers.

In addition you will need to provide valuable support to our Sales Representative out on the road.

The Ideal Sales Person:

Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience working in a builders' merchant, but as a minimum you will need to have knowledge of building materials. In addition, this role requires an excellent telephone manner, a proactive and enthusiastic sales driven individual, together with competency in MS Windows packages.

Working Hours Include:

7.30-5.00 Monday to Friday, plus some Saturday mornings on a rota (overtime).
