Sales Manager - RF Components - Yorkshire

Primarily an RF component OEM, my client also designs and produces bespoke RF solutions for the defence market. They're currently looking for a Sales Manager to sell directly in to the UK defence primes as well as managing agents/reps in Europe - a territory they're becoming a lot more active in.

This is a replacement role for someone who's been with the company since inception and is retiring at the end of the year. They would like someone on board prior to this, so that a sufficient handover can take place.

The successful candidate will need:

- A technical RF/MW background
- Experience selling in to the defence market
- The drive to grow my client's European presence
- The willingness to travel domestically and internationally

This role comes with a lot of accountability over sales strategy and forecasts. Reporting directly in to the MD, you'll be entrusted to maximise sales within the existing customer base whilst also focusing on bringing in a good proportion of new business. As it's a travelling role, a part home based solution could be an option for the right candidate, so long as they can attend periodic meetings in the Yorkshire HQ.
