Multi-skilled Engineer
You will be working within a team of engineers as an mechanically bias engineer within this very busy food processing plant within Northamptonshire. Supporting the whole Site and particular supporting production, resolving machinery breakdown, planned maintenance, site services and ongoing remedial works To carry out planned maintenance on all items of production equipment. In con-junction with the Engineering Manager and the Team Leaders monitor and evaluate machinery efficiency levels on an ongoing basis and evaluate engineering improvements as appropriate.
The Person
Applications for this position are invited from multi skilled engineers, qualified to City & Guilds or equivalent level in mechanical engineering with a recognised apprenticeship. 'Hands on' maintenance experience with an FMCG/Food process environment would be ideal for this role.
Rotating days and nights. 2 days on, 2 off, 3 nights, 2 off, 3 days rotating. Average of 42 hours per week, 12 hour shifts. In return the company offers a salary of 32K.
