1-2-1 Teaching Assistant Post - Primary - Cardiff

Teaching Assistant - Cardiff - 1-2-1 basis - GBP55-GBP70 (based on experience)

Academics are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who has experience of working on a 1-2-1 basis with a pupil who suffers from behavioural difficulties. .

This Cardiff based school are looking for someone to join their dedicated team to help with an individual pupil who suffers with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The successful candidate must have experience in this sector and confident in their own ability to manage and control a junior pupil who can also become physical at times. This is a specific role and one for a candidate who is looking to help develop and build a strong bond on a long term basis.

To be considered for the position you must:

* Have at least 12 months experience of working with EBD or 1-2-1 with a challenging pupil.
* Ideally be Team Teach certified (not essential)
* Have an excellent understanding of how a 1-2-1 teaching assistant must be and be up to date on child protection
