From the moment of birth til the end of your days, the heart is the most vital organ a person has. While others may falter, the heart must maintain its strength to keep the blood pumping and the body moving, and that's why a well-staffed Cardiology department is of utmost importance to hospitals the world over.
One such hospital, based in the home of Stonehenge, requires an SpR from October 20th for 3 months in the first instance to aid cover in the Cardiology department inclusive of work on the Coronary Care Unit and a 1:5 on call bleep cross covering General Medicine. Working an average of 50 hours per week as per the hospital's rota, including short and long days, nights, and weekends, you will have access to the department's excellent facilities, giving you the chance to enhance your skills in a proactive learning environment while gaining invaluable experience moving forward.
