This post is fixed term to 1 May 2015.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to engage with and work with high schools in support of the College’s High School Liaison strategy. You will help to develop and maintain effective links between Bury College and its key partner high schools and will have a key role in the implementation of research projects into the potential issues affecting learners progressing into post 16 education.
With a welcoming approach to young people and preferably with experience of working in a school or college environment you will have knowledge of the 14-19 curriculum and experience of taking part in research activity. You should be flexible, able to demonstrate tact and discretion and be an excellent communicator.
You should have a relevant Level 3 qualification (or a willingness to work towards this) as well as experience of working with young people and of undertaking research activity.
The post will require travel within the Bury, Manchester and surrounding areas and applicants must be able to provide their own transport.
