Governors at Our lady's Catholic High School in Preston are seeking motivated, and positive people to apply for their Business admin apprenticeship roles. Apprentice role 1 will provide routine clerical/administrative/financial duties to assist with the smooth running of the business support functions in our outstanding school. Provide general clerical and administrative support, including word processing, minute taking, filing routine correspondence, distributing mail, basic reprographics. Routine financial administration, including petty cash, postage, banking etc. Maintaining and updating manual and computerised records including, for example, records of free school meals, school trips, registers etc including related data input. Undertake reception duties including answering telephone and responding to routine queries. Maintaining stock and ordering supplies, including the processing of orders, check of incoming deliveries, arranging for payment of invoices and the distribution and storage of stock. General welfare support, where required, including liaison with staff and parents. Our Lady’s Catholic High School is an oversubscribed 11–16 mixed High School of 900 pupils serving mainly the Catholic community in the north of Preston. It is situated in a pleasant environment off Cadley Causeway in the Fulwood area of Preston. The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and organised individual to take up this apprenticeship opportunity. Good oral/written skills and knowledge and understanding of the use of ICT.
