NEW ROLE: Mechanical Design Engineer - Hampshire - Circa GBP35,000 + Benefits

I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a well-established engineering organisation based in Hampshire. Salary circa GBP35,000 + Benefits.

My client has been established for over 50 years and still has some of its first ever designed products in operation across the globe. They have over 100 different products and as a result working with them is very varied.

In this role you it will be a blend of new product development (NPD) and the re designing of some of their Legacy products. They outsource their manufacturing and therefore you must be able to complete clear concise tolerance manufacturing drawings. You would ideally also be competent in doing 3D modelling. All their products will require user manuals and as a result this would also fall under your remit.

The ideal candidate would be apprentice trained or have worked on the shop floor. The reason for this is that you would have an understanding of how things are designed and come together. However, if you don't come from this background your application will still be seriously considered.

In addition to the above you should:

-Be able to produce clear, concise toleranced manufacturing drawings
-Experience in 3D CAD
-Commercial experience of at least 2 years
