Marketing Executive - Online/Offline/Direct Mail

A well-established business based in Basildon is looking to add an ambitious and proactive Marketing Executive to its team. In order to be suitable for this business critical role you MUST have experience of multi channelled marketing

To be considered for the Marketing Executive position you will be comfortable and have an understanding of the following skill sets:

• To define, implement and analyse new customer activity across all channels, ensuring creative and offers are appropriate to each customer segment to improve acquisition.
• Reporting and analysis to drive continuous improvement and hitting KPIs eg number of customers recruited, sales uplift, A/B split testing and creative format tests
• Work closely with external data agencies to refine and build upon existing data pools
• Ensuring effective, branded marketing communications including print ad online communication
• Managing media and external PR agencies.
• Analysis and reporting of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts.
• Multi-channel marketing experience preferably within mail order or retail (although not essential)

Skills

• Proven Project management abilities.
• Strong Excel skills and general computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills both spoken and written.
• Direct mail campaign creation, execution and analysis
• Ability to write effective direct mail and PR copy.
• Understanding of database management and list  creation.
• Good understanding of the creative, print,  production and direct mail processes.
• Have understanding of the workings of the Internet  and online activity.
• Keen strategic thinker, with capacity for analytical  and lateral thought.

Qualifications

• Marketing/Communications Degree desired but not essential
• Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma desired but not essential
