An opportunity is available for a Vehicle Builder/Mechanical Fitter to join a busy engineering company in Plymouth that specialises in refreshing rolling stock. Starting immediately, the successful Vehicle Builder will earn up to £16 per hour.
As a Vehicle Builder/Mechanical Fitter you will be working in a fast-paced environment on a Rolling Stock refresh program. You must be reliable as the program runs to a tight schedule and, as such, you will also be expected to help out the other trades when necessary.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Vehicle Builder/Mechanical Fitter that is seeking the comfort and security of working for a reputable and established company. To be successful you should possess a proactive attitude, in addition to the following:
• Previous Vehicle Building/Mechanical Fitter experience
• Willingness to help out colleagues within your team
• A “can do” approach to work and positive outlook
• Reliable and able to prioritise workload
• Keen eye for detail
• Drugs & Alcohol Certificate would be advantageous
The work is ongoing for a minimum of one year with more work available for the right candidate. You should be prepared to work from 6am to 6pm Day Shift, and 11am to 11pm Late Shift.
