Swindon, Wiltshire (Commutable from Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Reading, Newbury), South West

Hugely prestigious client with offices in Swindon (Wiltshire, South West) are keen to recruit two Programme Managers who specialise in delivering projects and programmes in a Finance function with significant experience of Financial Controls, general ledgers, system integration, financial reconciliation and regulatory reporting at a corporate level. The successful candidates will have worked in a heavily regulated environment (Oil, Gas, Utilities, Telecoms for example) and not be phased by working in an area with an ambitious change agenda with a project and programme change plan lasting c3 to 5 years.

You'll have developed a high level of expertise in Programme Management and Finance related projects and transformation programmes within a Matrix environment. You will have a track record in delivering continuous improvement and outstanding planning skills. Liaising at a senior level, you will have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills to bring about desired outcomes.

As you'll be dealing with often sensitive and confidential information, you'll need to develop and maintain trustworthy relationships with external partners as well handle the legal complexities such activities bring. As someone who thrives in a pressured environment, you enjoy a challenge - as well as being challenged - and enjoy making real improvements and getting results.

Key demonstrable skills:

* Stakeholder management (up to Board level)
* Inspirational Leadership
* Communication and Influencing
* Planning and Organising
* Working knowledge of Prince II and MSP familiarisation
* Demonstrable track record in Project/Programme Management experience including budget management
* Strong Line Management experience

Key experience:

* Extensive experience of Financial Reporting - techniques, technology, tools
* Regulatory Reporting - understanding and experience essential
* A thorough understanding of the challenges in the Financial Reporting world (ie current and proposed regulation)
* Risk and Issue management
* Versatile Planning skills with sound hands on MSP experience
