Management Accountant South Darenth
£30K - £35K plus bonus and benefit package
A Management Accountant is required to join a global market leader in reversing safety and all-round visibility for commercial vehicles. The company's reputation is built upon the quality and reliability of its products and its service and support.
The group is based in the UK, has subsidiary companies in the USA, Germany, France, Italy, The Netherlands and South Africa, and is in partnership with over 50 specialist distributors worldwide.
Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join the team. The post holder will responsible for maintaining all accounting records and producing accounts for overseas subsidiaries as well as assisting in the development of new systems to aid the company's expansion.
Key tasks will include:
- Monthly management accounts for central and local management
- Monthly sales analysis by salesperson/product
- Bank reconciliations and inter-co balance reconciliation
- Day to day control of; back to back invoice processing from the central warehouse department; journals for cash, expenses and accruals and overseas tax entries received from the local accountants.
- Assist other team members on the more complex bookkeeping issues
Skills and Experience:
- The ideal post holder will be part-qualified ACMA/ACA or AAT
- Posses a high level of literacy, numeracy and have a good understanding of book-keeping and office practices.
- Good MS Excel skills, Vlookup/SUMIF level would ideal.
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar role is essential to be considered for this position.
- The ability to communicate effectively with people for whom English is not their first language is important, hence the ability to speak a second language would be beneficial.
