Production Controller

We are looking for a talented individual to join a successful, fast growing creatively focus business based in the Cotswolds.

This role requires a background and understanding of publishing, you will need to be highly organised and have the ability to manage all stages of the production process, from conceptual ideas to delivery, with a great eye for detail ensuring the finished product meet high standards of quality.

You will be responsible for also ensuring product is delivered on time to cost.
Working with major stores on retailer exclusives in both adult and children's sectors and with the house brand you will work with other members of the publishing team and internal departments such as design, technologists, and sales. A strong relationship builder you will be required to work with external suppliers both here and in the Far East.

With very strong project management skills, you will need to be comfortable managing wide ranging schedules and be able to prioritise to keep several plates spinning.
There will be the opportunity to innovate with formats and bring new and exciting ideas to life.

A strong understanding of print specification is key as is the ability to negotiate on price.
