This is an opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer creating bespoke special purpose equipment in Redditch commutable from Worcester, Birmingham and Coventry. Paying a salary of GBP25:30,000pa (experience dependant) in a busy design office close to excellent road networks.
The Company
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be working for an employer who our a market leader in the development and manufacture of special purpose systems that are used by the pinnacle : they are the Ferrari of their industry They provide turnkey solutions to clients globally.
The Candidate
As the successful Mechanical Design Engineer you are going to have experience of sheet metal design ideally for more than 3 years, and be able to work unsupervised or within a small team.
Mechanical Design Engineer : Person Specifications
The successful candidate will have previously worked within mechanical design of special purpose systems.
Will have experience of designing sheet metal fabrications and providing solutions within ever changing space envelopes
Experience of using 3D CAD software, preferably Solidworks (training would be provided for the right candidate).
An understanding of material selection.
A self motivated individual you will have the ability to work within a multi:disciplinary project team, which oversees projects from start to finish.
Good practical knowledge of manufacturing methods
PC literate, particularly using MS Office
Able to deal effectively with ambiguity and multiple problems.
