Green Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a Process Engineer for a leading Energy from Waste company specialising in Gasification technology. This is a new role that will be reporting to the Senior Design Manager, assisting on a number of high profile design and build turn key Energy from Waste projects.
This is an office based role which predominantly involves process design. Therefore the ideal candidate will be a Chemical Engineer with strong process engineering experience. Someone who is a capable engineer with strong technical ability and can do all the relevant calculations and carry out detailed engineering design work.
You will be ideally conversant in the following:
- Gasification and combustion systems
- Waste and biomass fuels analysis
- Boiler water systems
- Boilers (HRSG) and flue gas treatment systems
- Steam cycle in relation to piping systems, steam turbines and air/water cooled condensers
- Process mass and energy balances
- Material selection
- PFD and P&ID production
- Health and safety legislation
- HAZOP and HAZID analysis
- Computer aided design techniques
