They are now looking for an experienced Administrator to join their busy team on a 1 year Maternity Cover contract. Within the role you will effectively co-ordinate the payroll process on a weekly basis to ensure all employees are paid correctly whilst maintaining the payroll system/database.

The role of the Administrator involves managing and processing paperwork for sickness, maternity/paternity leave and other related documents, whilst responding and resolving any payroll queries from employees, management and Head Office. Co-ordinating and inputting all new starters onto the system and removing leavers from the system, you will manage the procedures for long term sickness, length of service, retirement and unauthorised absence. Producing reports when required and maintaining all personnel records ensuring documentation is kept up to date, you will answer the switchboard in a professional manner and co-ordinate the booking and setting up of meeting rooms.

Our Client is looking for someone who has a good working background within a similar role. With a minimum of 3 years’ experience in general administration, you will ideally have payroll knowledge although this is not essential. Having worked as part of a small busy team and within a multi-cultural environment, you will have a good eye for detail and excellent organisational and communication skills. Operating accurately and methodically is key, as is having the ability to multitask, keep calm under pressure and remain confidential at all times. With a flexible approach and excellent telephone manner, you will be able to adapt to change and work well independently as well as part of a team.
