Meldreth Manor, near both Cambridge and Royston provides person-centred support to children and young people up to the age of 19 with complex needs including learning difficulties and physical disabilities

£15,222 - £18,122 per annum depending on experience and qualification
39 hours per week
You will need enthusiasm and a determination to provide excellent support to disabled young people
You will need good communication skills, a professional manner and a willingness to support with personal care, eating, drinking and all aspects of the person’s daily routines, activities and education.
You will work at Meldreth Manor both in the Children’s Home and the school and in the wider community. The role includes evenings and weekends.
Previous experience is always valued but for the Support Worker role this is not essential as we will provide induction, training and will support you to gain a Diploma in Health and Social Care.
