Primary Intervention Teacher

Qualified KS1 Intervention Teacher required, on a part time basis in the batley area to take a lead teaching role on a one on one basis.

The Job

- The School requires a passionate teacher to work with under achieving children.
- The successful candidate must have a passion for delivering excellent learning across the curriculum and have the skill to adapt their teaching to meet the needs of children.
- Must be committed to working as part of a team to improve and increase pupils development.

The School

- This is a larger than average primary school in an area of social deprivation.
- The school also has a designated library area, a soundproof room for music tuition, a cooking area, an ICT suite and on site childcare facilities.
- In recent years the building has been adapted and improved to provide easy access for wheelchair users.

- The behaviour of pupils is good. Pupils generally have good attitudes, both to their learning and to each other. Pupils wear their uniforms with pride, are polite and courteous at all times and show respect to each other and adults.

You will have;
* Experience working in schools or
* Recent experience working in a child care setting
* Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum

Due to the amount of inbound work, we are currently enrolling candidates on our guaranteed pay scheme. You will be paid on a basis of up to 5 days per week guaranteed work.
