Our client is a successful semiconductor company behind the technical ingenuity found in a huge range of popular consumer electronics products. Based in the South East, they are seeking a Digital Physical Design Engineer to join their silicon team and make an immediate impact on the company's advanced SoC designs.

In this role you will join a team of a dozen experienced Physical Design Engineers and be responsible for Place & Route, floorplanning and Timing Analysis of digital designs. The Physical Design team covers the backend design flow for the company's entire design portfolio, hence project work will be highly interesting and varied, with excellent scope to gain full experience across the RTL-GDSII flow.

This role is suitable for a semiconductor engineer with at least a year or two's experience in digital physical / back-end design, with expertise in:
*Place & Route (P&R)
*Floorplanning
*RTL synthesis
*Clock Tree Synthesis
*Timing closure on complex SoC designs
*IR drop analysis
