Bolton Cover Supervisor needed ASAP!

Due to the increasing demand for cover supervisors, Randstad Education is currently looking to recruit a number of individuals to work in Secondary Schools in Bolton on a day-to-day basis.

The Job:

You are able to:

- Supervise classes of 11-16 year olds in the absence of their usual class teacher.
- Manage behaviour in line with school policy.
- Deliver lessons from a range of subjects across the national curriculum set by a qualified teacher.
- Leave completed work and observation notes for the class teacher.

You must:

- Have experience of and a genuine passion for working with groups of teenagers.
- Have good numeracy and literacy skills and a general knowledge of the secondary curriculum.
- Have an understanding of SEN and inclusion.
- Be able to communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Be organized, calm in a crisis and able to think on your feet.
- Be flexible, punctual, professional and approachable.

The Greater Manchester catchment area is socio-economically diverse and contains a huge variety of needs and attributes amongst its cohort of students.

Cover supervisors should be equipped to manage the learning of KS3 & KS4 students from a variety of backgrounds with different ability levels, SEN and behavioural-emotional-social difficulties.
