HGV Class 1 Driver x 2 (Late Shift)
Keynsham
Salary Competitive
48 hours per week. Monday to Friday will be 14:30-00:00. There will be a requirement to work a rotating weekend.
REQUIREMENTS
• Completed CPC and received qualification card.
• Previous experience as a Class 1 driver.
THE ROLE
Two positions have arisen for Drivers at our Keynsham Depot on a rotating shift pattern. Working within a busy environment, the role will be part of the transport function at the depot. Your responsibilities will include:
• Driving assigned vehicles in line with licence, which may include an REL and roll on roll off hook lift vehicle.
• Fulfilling daily worksheet of collections.
• Exchanging of bins or stillage’s of recycled material at customer sites.
• Completion of compactor work as and when required at customer sites.
• Keeping vehicle area clean and tidy both inside and out.
• Completing daily vehicle check sheet.
• Fuelling vehicles and recording fuel consumption.
• Informing Depot Management about potential leads.
• Liaising with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Monitoring working time and utilising breaks effectively to prevent driving time infringements.
THE PERSON
As well as having driving experience you will also need to have good interpersonal skills as the job involves direct involvement with customers, suppliers and the general public.
