  • To source and achieve suitable and sustainable work placements by engaging with targeted employers and channel partners to meet and exceed contractual requirements.
  • Makes decisions around sales tactics as agreed with the Territory Sales Manager/Business Manager.

    The Role:

    To secure interviews and placements for clients, and market the services of the Company via face to face meetings with local employers.

  • To secure high volume sustainable placements i.e. with new employers in the area and build up a bank of placements.
  • Account management of local employers, ensuring regular contact and lasting relationships.
  • Actively seek new commercial opportunities from existing business and identify and drive forward new opportunities.
  • Work with Placement Liaison Officer to ensure outcomes are met and exceeded.
  • To monitor performance against target, budget and income generation.
  • To participate directly or indirectly in marketing the Company’s services to Employers, colleges and training providers.
  • Maintain information on employer engagement, labour market intelligence, placementopportunities, client matching and progressions onto further skills training as required by the contract and company.
  • Be responsible for accurate and timely data reporting and use of IT systems.
  • Liaise with referral bodies and other departments where applicable.
  • Ensure you have a clear understanding of your targets, customer aspirations and requirements and value add propositions
  • Makes decisions around ensuring that placements are suitable and sustainable in line with contractual requirements ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Networking with area employers and channel partners as agreed by Territory Sales Manager/Business Manager to secure placements
  • Work collaboratively with operational colleagues and sales team to ensure that discussions with employers and channel partners are in a manner which is professional and in partnership to exceed employer and channel partner expectations
  • Work collaboratively with marketing colleagues to design and deploy tactical marketing activity to support sales plan delivery as agreed by the Territory Sales Manager/Business Manager
  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

     

  • Experience of working in a target driven environment is essential.
  • An ability to engage with target employers to achieve placements and a pipeline is essential.
  • An ability to quickly gain a good understanding of the local labour market needs is essential.
  • An understanding of, or experience of working within employability is desirable.
  • Well developed organisation and planning skills
  • Proven networking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good data analysis skills
  • Ability to organise and plan a busy work schedule.
  • IT literate
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Driving licence and use of own vehicle
