Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply are looking for a Head of Relationships & Engagement to join their team based in Easton House. They are offering a salary of circa £60,000 + package and company car working 35 hours per week

With a community of over 100,000 in 150 countries worldwide, we are currently seeking a Head of Relationships & Engagement to be responsible for the ongoing engagement with our member communities globally.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong commercial background (preferably MBA level), a highly motivated individual with demonstrable budget management experience to undertake this exciting and rewarding opportunity. A strategic thinker you will need to understand the wants and needs of our communities and to support the translation of these into compelling value propositions.

The role will be predominantly based in the East Midlands, but will require regular travel within the UK and occasional overseas travel to build and develop relationships with our stakeholders.

The Job

- Reporting directly to the Group Membership & Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for meeting or exceeding targets for engagement, recruitment, retention and reactivation of membership and communities globally

- Accountable for the Global Membership P&L (revenue circa £6 million), including delivery of management reports for three key operating areas: EMEA, Asia Pacific and Africa

- Analysis of trends: development and implementation of innovation solutions to respond to complex issues

- Continuous review of market need and monitoring of product gaps to broaden and enhance CIPS membership offerings

- Line management responsibility for the Network Manager and Events team, ensuring their engagement, motivation and development are effectively managed and maintained in line with the global department objectives

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

- Highly commercial background (preferably MBA level) with the ability to interrogate data and provide management information and reports

- Strong verbal and written presentation skills with the ability to present to internal and external stakeholders with confidence and clarity

- P&L management

- Events and networks management experience with ability to understand the event process and ensure tight budget control

- Excellent relationship management skills

- Line management experience
