Dental Nurse- Qualified

We are looking for an experienced qualified dental nurse for our friendly, modern, cosmetic dental practice based in the heart of Newcastle.

We provide high quality general and cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and implant dentistry with an emphasis on going the extra mile for our patients.

Your duties will include greeting patients, clinical note taking, use of R4 software to input patient / treatment details, maintaining cleanliness of the surgery, stock control, keeping inventory of all dental materials and equipment, cross infection control and CQC compliance.

• Positive, jovial person who enjoys working with people
• Fluent in spoken English
• Takes initiative in looking after patient’s needs and that of the team
• Computer literate and competent with technology (Kodak R4)
• Organised, with ability to plan own work
• Fast learner, with good attitude to learning
• Flexible attitude to working Saturdays
• Experienced, GDC registered
• Knowledge of CQC requirements, preferable

This is a maternity cover position for a potential 12 month period suitable for a candidate with good team working skills and the opportunity to build and organise their working environment.

Hours are based on 40 per week working between Monday to Saturday

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
