Corporate Consultant

Due to continued success our client, a market leader within the finance industry is actively seeking an experienced, dedicated and ambitious Corporate Consultant to compliment their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, key responsibilities will include;

Identify business opportunities from new and existing clients and develop a business plan to generate a pipeline sufficient to meet your agreed business targets.
Proactively identify and engage in appropriate business generation activities to drive forward new client acquisition, agree fees with clients and have an up to date Corporate Client Agreement for all existing schemes.
To analyse the information gathered by matching clients’ needs and objectives in line with compliance standards and prevailing market conditions. Produce appropriate recommendations in a timely manner.
To present recommendations to the client, utilising presentation and behavioural skills to gain commitment to proceed and obtain relevant documentation to do so.
To contact all leads supplied in an agreed timescale with line management and to provide feedback on all leads via agreed business processes. To provide sufficient Management Information to respond to the needs of line management to understand the business activities you are or want to be engaged in.
To continuously develop and maintain an up to date and in depth knowledge of market and legislative conditions to enable the highest standards of advice to be given and increase technical knowledge in specialist areas.
Client servicing and development of opportunities with existing clients as well as new client acquisition through the strategy as defined by the corporate business.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of creating Key Account Management plans and their successful delivery for all clients, proven experience of delivering high quality tender responses and of running successful beauty parade presentations. In addition you will demonstrate a good level of project management experience with the ability to successfully delivering to corporate clients. In addition you will be expected to assume leadership and responsibility regarding major new client/services acquisition, to plan and work towards achieving individual and team based business targets as agreed with line management.

You will be qualified to minimum Level 4 Diploma Status and CF30 with extensive knowledge of the following;

Auto Enrolment;
DB scheme;
DC arrangements;
Group SIPP;
Group Risk (DIS/GPHI/PMI);
Legacy pension schemes;
Platform development
You will also have up to date knowledge of market and legislative conditions as well as Company Good Business Standards and FCA requirements and a thorough understanding of the principles of Treating Customers Fairly.
