Principal Lead Analog/RF IC Design Engineer - Austria - NFC

Our client, a successful international semiconductor manufacturer, currently seeks a highly experienced Analog/RF IC Design Lead for their design centre located in Austria.

Working as part of an experienced team of designers within the NFC design group, you will be tasked with technical lead responsibilities which will include:

- Concept Design of NFC/Reader Analog RF Systems
- Generation of New Concepts
- Design & Implementation of Analog IP Blocks
- Technical Lead of Concept and Design
- Coaching of Analog Designers
- Technical Lead of Analog Subsystems & Interface to System (Digital, Software)
- Review of Specs, Verification Plans, Test concepts on Analog System and block level
- Design for testability & yield improvement
- Trouble shooting during production Ramp up

In addition you will expected to have strong experience in Analog/RF IC design, and layout techniques as well as an in-depth understanding of RF circuit blocks such as Amplifiers, Mixers, Power Amplifiers, VCOs with the ability to drive architecture and topology choices and with strong fundamentals in circuit theory.

The successful Analog/RF IC Design engineer will have at least 8 years experience in Analog and/or RF IC design in CMOS using Cadence tools with a strong RFID background (Contactless Smartcards, NFC).

Experience is required in the design of; op-amps, filters and comparators. Experience in receiver building blocks such as; Amplifiers, Baseband Amplifiers, PLLs, Oscillators, XO's and Power Amplifiers is also required.

A strong team player and strong communicator in English you will be able to work independently as well as in a team across a multi site environment. Knowledge of the German language an advantage.
