Embedded Semiconductor Applications Engineering Team lead / Manager - Bristol

Our client, a growing semiconductor company based in Bristol / The Silicon South West, have an excellent opportunity for a hands on embedded team lead / manager, with good customer facing skills, to join and lead their applications engineering capability.

The successful candidate will be working with a high calibre engineering team with a close working relationship with a growing number of clients from Tier 1 OEM's in markets such as Audio, Automotive, Industrial and Consumer, through to SME's developing innovative products using their technology.

Candidates will have a strong embedded development background, experience in a team lead role, commercial acumen and proven customer liaison skills.

Specific technical skills sought include:
-Embedded C from device ( microprocessor) level through to application code
-USB,
-Ethernet, TCP/IP industrial communications and/or control
-Audio and DSP
-Demonstrable experience of dealing directly with customers through the entire development lifecycle.
