Mobile and Tablet Project Manager (UK or Spain)

Job Title: Mobile and Tablet Project Manager
Location: UK (Greater London) or Spain (Madrid)
Base Salary: GBP45-55K

JPURPOSE
To create / participate in creation of a mobile strategy for our leading payments product & manage various mobile projects for use by internal and external retail customers.
ROLE
The role will be performed in close co-operation with marketing, product and development teams and includes communication with multiple business entities in the operating countries. It includes gathering functional requirements & participation in creating technical requirements with developers within the businesses infrastructure and with the technical specifications available for both mobile & tablet native applications. The role can furthermore include communication with external contractors for strategic and technical deliverables if outsourcing is chosen on specific tasks.

OUTPUTS
1. Build detailed & extensive understanding of our leading products business end-to-end business model and where mobile products fit into the company environment, both internally and externally.
2. Advice on best practises in mobile & tablet environment as a contribution to workshops & brainstorming sessions for technical & functional design. Advice on methods to maximize user-friendliness & intuitive user interface in the applications developed.
3. Responsible for delivering secure applications in co-operation with the businesses security officer & software architect.
4. Creation of extensive project plans & roadmaps for the planned mobile projects & submit those to Head of Mobile Development with regular follow-up & validation.
5. The employee is expected to have full visibility of the local particularities in our operating countries & long term product roadmaps even though developments and releases will be split in smaller units with new features or markets being added incrementally. This visibility should enable the employee to prepare & design applications with future requirements in mind to minimize development efforts.
6. Responsibility for delivering the various mobile projects according to our mobile strategy that fit highest quality requirements and within cost & time restrictions set by the business.
7. Responsible for including an efficient setup, configuration and management tools of the applications developed.
8. Manage and prioritize work for developer(s) within the mobile team and possibly other developers working in the IT department that participate in mobile projects.
9. Responsibility for always having up-to-date technical and functional documentation available.
10. Responsible for implementing standardized QA procedures, that deployments follow release schedule according to our standards and creation of release notes for internal and external distribution.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Education & Experience
Must have at least 3 year experience working in mobile development projects.
Must have delivered a successful mobile application.
Must be comfortable and have experience with both iOS and Android applications.
Project manager certification is required.
Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in information technology studies is required.
