This is an exciting opportunity to join a c£110 million business which supplies cake and desserts to service the 'ownbrand' of the major retailers. There are two sites in Oldham and Bolton. Oldham produces high value complex cake products and dessert favourites to Marks and Spencers amongst others. The Bolton sites produces household favourite cake products such as slab cakes and victoria sponges.
There is a permanent position, based at Bolton, for a Learning & Development Trainer. The post holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of the training needs of all the employees in the business, although some training is outsourced. They will also ensure that the business training records are constantly maintained, are accurate and always audit ready. This role plays a key part in the promotion of Company values and high quality standards. This role is supported by a Learning and Development Coordinator.
Ideal candidates will have excellent presentation and instructional skills. They should have drive and enthusiasm and be sympathetic to the pace of a busy food manufacturing site. Excellent communicational skills are required together with an in depth knowledge of PC packages, especially Excel.
Core hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 5pm However, you will be required to cover all shifts, including nights and weekends on an ad-hoc basis, this is a requirement for the role.
