A Social Media Executive is required to join a marketing company specialising in explainer video production and content marketing. They work with many SME's as well as larger companies such as Deloitte, Standard Chartered, Micron, O2 and Seagate.
This role would revolve around managing social media accounts for their clients through their Wyzowl brand. This would include daily management of social media accounts, posting content, engaging with fans, building the audience and creating reports. It would also include reaching out to bloggers and publications to generate guest posting opportunities and opportunities to post content they have created for their clients on other sites.
They are an innovative and creative company and have a lot of exciting prospects. They are growing their team due to increased demand for their services.
Job Introduction
Hours: 9am - 5:30pm / Mon - Fri
Leave: 20 days + public and statutory holidays
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a track record of managing social media accounts with a good level of success. You will be able to demonstrate your skill whilst keeping within the clients brief and requirements.
They are keen to train their staff to help further their skill set and career. This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong knowledge of the English language, a people person who is highly technically aware. This role involves research into software and other technical products to gain an understanding of how they work and to understand their customers businesses.
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing their own and their clients social media accounts.
- Creating content yourself and in conjunction with their team to keep quality of output high.
- Creating monthly social media plans with an aim of increasing followers and engagement.
- Posting content to their social media and their clients social media accounts.
- Blogger outreach to generate posting opportunities on other websites.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
- Creating reports to keep clients up to date with the progress of their accounts.
- Manage customer and supplier relationships as required.
- Recording all project details in their CMS.
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- Working with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists.
- Various administrative tasks to help the smooth running of the office and projects.
Person Specification:
- Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense.
- Proven record of managing social media accounts with a proven level of success.
- Strong computer skills & fluent in Microsoft Office applications
- A professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
- Ability to work to a brief agreed with the client or account manager.
- The ability to grasp client needs and consider practical solutions.
- The ability to pay attention to detail.
- The ability to balance work on several projects at a time.
