Semiconductor company based in the UK seeks Principal Analog/RF IC Design Engineer with skills in; RF/Analog(Analogue) IC Design, CMOS, NFC, RFID, power amplifiers, LNAs, mixers, PLLs, rectifiers, regulators, synthesizers, filters, ADCs and DACs.

Our client has a unique opportunity for a Principal RF/Analog IC Design Engineer to join an existing team of highly motivated and creative design experts based along the M4 corridor in the UK.

Working on fascinating and cutting edge technology involved short-range data communication and Near Field Communications (NFC) product lines as well as Bluetooth & Wireless LAN, you will be responsible for the design of NFC radio developments in deep submicron CMOS technology.

You will be involved in the design of Analog/RF IC blocks such as; power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, mixers, PLLs, rectifiers, regulators, synthesizers and IF filters.

A major responsibility is RF architecture design involving the magnetic air interface definition and involvement in NFC antenna design including the definition of key performance parameters.

The successful Principal Analog/RF IC Design Engineer will have established and proven experience in Analog and/or RF IC Design with specific expertise on RF CMOS design. You must have the ability to work well within an existing team of designers and will ideally have experience in leading teams and/or projects as well as experience working as a technical leader with leadership and mentoring skills that develop and motivate team members to share ideas and embrace new ideas.

Experience is required in the majority of the following areas: Radio transmitter and receiver architectures, performance and trade-offs, ADCs and DACs, Antenna and interface circuit design preferably for NFC applications, Low noise amplifiers (LNA), mixers, power amplifiers, filters, PLLs, synthesiser design, oscillators, interface drivers, op amps, serial-de-serial I/O, clock and data recovery, high speed dividers, phase frequency detectors, charge pumps, crystal oscillators and rectifiers.
