Job Role:

The company is an integrated full-service, global marketing agency is looking to hire a Production Analyst / Administrator with a proven track record in managing& monitoring complex marketing technology projects involving large databases, 3rd party marketing software and in-house & 3rd party developed tools.

The company is a Marketing Services Provider; it is especially important that the post holder has experience in grasping marketing concepts and can display the insight to know how to apply technology to meet marketing needs. As a technology leader, candidates should have a strong grasp of database architecture, modeling, ETL, and database access tools. In addition, the company’s clients drive their business, so candidates should be able to collaborate with clients requirements surrounding complex technical deliverables, have strong communications skills (written and oral), and a highly professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists in the full systems life cycle and be responsible for design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance and support for the company’s production environment.
• As a DBA administration, consults with system users to gather information about needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements
• Perform database programming for new and existing systems
• End-to-end project life cycle experience
• Test driven development within Agile/Scrum delivery
• Maintenance, debugging and problem-solving of existing . Net / Database applications thorough, demonstrable unit testing and the championing of its use
• Code reviews, by and for peers
• Technical documentation that shares knowledge effectively
• Develops, maintains, monitors and manages data loads and functions
• Develops test plans to ensure expected quality level to meet standard development efforts
• Plan and implement backup and recovery for all of the SQL databases
• Implement and enforce security for all of the SQL databases
• SQL Server administration, including monitoring and tuning SQL Server environment
• If needed, create dashboards and reports for end users for Multiple databases
• Ensures all solutions will meet and adhere to the corporate standards, procedures and methodologies and be part of the ITO change management.
• Performs preliminary triage and troubleshooting for database applications issues to provide analysis for root cause, identify initial course of action, monitor follow through actions, and ensure proper issue resolution

Experience and Qualifications:

Essential;

• At least 2+ experience in SQL Server 2008R2 & T-SQL
• At least 2+ experience in Vb.Net development & troubleshooting.
• Testing of new Build work streams for introduction into Production;
• Solid understanding of the full development life-cycle
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (e.g. XP, Scrum)
• Experienced unit testing frameworks
• It is essential for the individual to have hands-on experience in T-SQL and Vb.Net
• Computer Science (or related) degree
